We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join a Primary School with an Ofsted rating of Good based in a small village on the Worcestershire/Shropshire border.
This role offers an exciting opportunity to support children with additional needs within a Primary School setting. If you are passionate about supporting the educational development of children and enjoy creating a positive impact, this SEN Teaching Assistant role may be perfect for you.
This SEN Teaching Assistant position starts ASAP on a full-time basis. The successful candidate will support a child in Year 1 on a 1:1 basis.
Job Role:
- Provide One to One support for a student with SEN (Special Educational Needs) in the classroom, based in Key Stage 1
- Assist with the planning and delivery of activities, tailored to individual student needs.
- Help students with their personal development, ensuring they are fully engaged in their learning.
- Work closely with class teachers and the SENCO to monitor and track student progress.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).
- Previous experience in a Primary School environment, preferably with SEN students.
- Knowledge of the National Curriculum and experience working with students in Key Stage 1.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with students and staff.
- A caring and patient attitude towards children with additional needs.
- Previous One to One experience is highly desirable.

- £85.02 to £98.41 per day, equating to £16,578.90 to £19,189.95 per annum, based on full-time hours.
